Another of the aliens, having discovered the true nature of Banning's plans, abandons him and joins up with a human scientist in an attempt to prevent the destruction of Earth and humanity. The series was filmed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was cancelled after a single season and ended on a cliffhanger. Echo Bridge Home Entertainment announced Code Name: Eternity: The Complete series on DVD.

Premiering in the United States on NBC Radio in 1952, the show was created and produced by Harry Salter and his wife Roberta. Name That Tune ran from 1953–1959 on NBC and CBS in prime time. The first hosts were Red Benson and later Bill Cullen, but George DeWitt became most identified with the show. Richard Hayes also emceed a local edition from 1970–1971, which ran for 26 weeks in a small number of markets.
